After being asked to photograph your special day I always like to meet with the happy couple to go over what they require from me and also for them to meet me and not have a strange face at their wedding.
I always photograph weddings how I would like my own to be, I keep things very personal and try not to intrude I like my photographs to tell a story, years ago a videographer would do this but I have noticed in the modern world we live in it isnt as popular. Traditional family shots are ok but unless you tie people down you are going to find that uncle bob has already set of to the wedding breakfast venue.
My advice for this is keep these kind of shots to a very minium.
As part of my package I ask you to allow 30 - 40 minutes of your time for the couples main photographs this may sound like a long time but this again from experience gives you both time together and also chance for me to capture you images that you will have blown up on your wall and be proud of for years to come.
